Isn't environmental conservation important simply for its own sake? If not, then what are "conservatives" conserving?
Or maybe they enjoy breathing in brown CO2 haze?

I watched "Jesus Camp" the other night on A&E and got some interesting (and disturbing) insights into this mindset. I think the idea is that the Earth isn't our permanent home and the "rapture" is coming soon, yada yada yada.
It was ... something to behold, to put it mildly.
