Weekend at the Monastery

This Saturday I went with some folks from church to visit St. Anthony's Orthodox monastery. It's a beautiful campus, situated eight miles outside of Florence, AZ. Florence is a tiny town about 40 miles southeast of Phoenix.

...you refer to incense as "Protestant Raid."

...your priest feels as if you are his personal cross to bear.

...you know that if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing.

...you like words such as, "oblations," "supplication," "succour," "bewail," and "dost."


...if you add to this list because you feel inclined "so to do."
